Currently you cannot edit the text in saved checklist items. Instead you can add a new one with your changes, then delete the existing one. However you may have added Notes or Files on the older item which would be lost upon deletion.
To preserve Notes and Files – instead of deleting: add a final note about the reason for this change, and then change the status to N/A to preserve the historical record.
