WARNING! USE EXTREME CAUTION! You may have business reasons to remove all of your data mappings (mapping links) and create them anew. Follow this process and don’t forget to backup data mappings before you begin. See the explanation of Picklists vs. Mappings in the Export section of this guide.
- Run an export as a backup right before you begin
- If you need to undo most the deletion, you can Upload and Import this file (follow the Import instructions in this guide)
- Note that deletion does not delete any default or custom picklist items (follow the instructions in this guide to delete items from picklists
- This process will delete all data mappings / mapping links!
- WARNING! USE EXTREME CAUTION! Choose one of these methods to delete data mappings:
- Navigate to Cog Wheel > Settings > Your Plan. Toggle My organization does data mapping by department off and back on again. This deletes all data mapping links.
- Navigate to Data Mapping > Export/Import. Uncheck “Include mapping” and then Download. Upload this exact file using the “Delete existing mapping and import new items and mapping” option. Because the mapping tabs are all blank, this deletes all data mapping links.
